Supernova Series
I have created a Supernova series to add to my collection of glass art. It is an exciting way to create new colours and textures. Creating new designs is a pleasant challenge. I chose the transient astronomical event that occurs during the last stellar evolutionary stages of a star's life. With research the colour combinations and interior colour mass has a great deal of potential. Encasing the colour and texture inside glass makes a statement of radiating energy.


Etna
Etna is an expression of earth and fire mixed in with the wind it creates. Large Etna (pictured on the left side - approx 5.5" tall) is £120.00 Small Etna (pictured on the right side - approx 4" tall) is £85.00.

No Grey Area
No Grey Area Series combines pure clear glass and dark dense black to create an interesting combination sculpture. In our society, no grey area means it is not right and it is not wrong. On the colour wheel, In between the pure clear glass and the darkest colour for glass there is a great deal of beauty to be made with what lies in between. The possibilities are endless. Wedding Lace Series
The Wedding Lace Series was an experiment to evoke a lace effect into glass. I feel I have reflected the image of soft, fine lace into this piece. Lace is an age-old craft as free blown glass is and both need to be kept alive for the next generations. Most of my designs can be made with the inclusion of Wedding Lace. Eternal Flame was designed as a celebration of life. I have had several commissions for this design which is a remembrance sculpture adding ashes of a loved one into it. I can offer a sculpture that will be a unique and a permanent and personalised remembrance of a loved one. I can make Loving Memory sculptures on commission in varying colours of your choice. Mwali Armband for Kula Trade	The indigenous people of the Kula ring are a group of islanders in the West Pacific who make armbands called Mwali. These are given to one Kula partner from another to establish a bond between islands. The gift is not given lightly but once given it is a treasured gift of brotherhood and camaraderie. A ceremonial gift exchange is practiced with one partner sailing to another partner in specially designed and decorated boats. This theme threads through the Awakening Dreams Exhibition that starts September 8th at Highcliffe Castle. Medium: Hand carved Malta stone embellished with metal clasp, home spun and dyed yarn, dried seeds, shells, purple/green rainbow fluorite hand cut beads (5 x 10mm), tourmaline oval beads (8 x 11mm), handmade flame worked glass beads, feathers. ‘Nautical Migration'
Description: My aim for this project is to evoke and enthuse the viewer to discover colour, fluid movement, and sense the organic forms that exist in the coral sea.
